expoNomic arranged a group of industrialists of woodworking industry in Estonia to visit LIGNA 2023, the world's leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing. It was a happy reunion after COVID. There were 1300 companies from 50 different countries at the 140 sq m exhibition area (12 halls + outdoor spaces), but also 80 000 visitors from 160 countries at LIGNA. Impressive 60 % of visitors came abroad to enjoy 5 days of networking, inspiration and innovation with 700 world premieres. The main themes were sustainability and digitalization.
